Coco and Cacao Smoothie for the Win

As soon as I got my hands on the NutriBullet, I’ve been experimenting with new smoothie recipes. They don’t always turn out great. Case in point, this morning I tried blending banana, blueberries, coconut milk, cacao powder, peanut butter powder, and flax seeds. Sounds like a weird combination? Yes, and it tasted weird too. Blueberries and peanut butter powder do not mix well. So, I took out the berries and used simple ingredients that will make my smoothie both nutrient-rich and more filling.

What you will need:
1-2 bananas
1 cup of coconut milk
3 tbsp of cacao powder
1 tbsp of peanut butter powder
1/2 cup of oatmeal (optional, for more thickness)
1 tsp flaxseeds

This mixture was smooth, creamy, and delicious! Sometimes the simplest ingredients and recipes are the best. No need to complicate things. Cheers to breakfast smoothies!

Love always,
