Acai and chia are great energy foods – offering healthy fats, minerals, and antioxidants. Acai is pronounced ah-sigh-ee (I’ve been saying it wrong for years) and it is a delicious low-glycemic berry that provides exceptional amounts of antioxidants, omega fats, protein and fiber.
Throw in some easily-digestible protein flax seeds, and some simple carbs from bananas and coconut water, and you’ve just created a delicious breakfast smoothie!
What you will need:
- 10 strawberries
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 2 Tbsp Navitas Naturals Acai Powder
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1 tablespoon cacao powder
- Flax seeds
- 8 ounces unsweetened coconut water
- garnish with pineapple!
