It’s March! The beginning of a brand new month filled with new beginnings, opportunities, and the first day of spring.
The first day of spring is coming up soon and I am counting down the weeks.
This morning, I’m trying to start the day with a positive outlook amidst the falling icicles and heavy snow. We are far from summer weather, but we can at least start our day off right with a healthy and nutritious smoothie.
Nothing says summer to me more than a delicious fruity smoothie, and hey, we gotta drink our vitamins for clear bright skin!
Meet This Luscious Berry Smoothie with Spinach:
- Handful of spinach
- 4-6 strawberries
- Handful of blueberries
- 1/2 cup of water or almond milk
- Scoop of vanilla protein powder (optional)
Blend all of the ingredients well until smoothie and creamy, like a strawberry milkshake. Add in extra of your favorite ingredients and blend well. What makes you think of spring more than this?
Since this smoothie included both strawberries and blueberries, it came out to be a purple-y color. Don’t worry about the color of your smoothie, as long as it tastes delicious.
